so the girls received 5 pet butterflies as a gift,first they come as caterpillar's then turn into beautiful butterflies! it took about 2 weeks for the whole process,then we finally got to release them from the net..here are a few pics of Bella and mayce as the butterflies where getting ready to take off
they really thought the whole process was really neat! cant wait to do it again :)

wow! What a great gift! We do that at school, our second grade classes study butterflies for science...they are always sooo excited about the process!
